DataPhysics Instruments GmbH, a company with 25 years of experience, specialises in measurement technology for surface science. Our devices can help to analyse chemical and physical properties of surfaces and interfaces, such as the interfacial tension, surface energy, work of adhesion, contact angles, roughness profiles, zeta potential and dispersion stability. In short, our products help determining material properties whenever a liquid meets another liquid or a solid surface. Our portfolio encompasses contact angle meters, force and spinning drop tensiometers, dispersion stability analysis systems, surface profile analysers and zeta potential analysers as well as contract measurements.
With the modular measuring systems from DataPhysics Instruments, such as the contact angle meters of the OCA series and the tensiometers of the DCAT series, the wettability of single fibres, fibre bundles and composite materials can be analysed in many ways. The stability analysis system MS 20 additionally enables the investigation of multiphase, liquid mixtures.
New in the portfolio is the Zeta-Potential-Analyzer ZPA 20, which can determine the surface charge (the so-called zeta potential) of powders, fibres and flat solids. Additionally, it is able to determine the isoelectric point of surfaces.
